    • I actually don't appreciate the some what mocking tone this was filmed in... at the end of the day you should be grateful that for one you don't live there and have to indure what the locals have to go through on a daily basis and two that you where not sleeping where your "neighbours" where.

    • We only discovered there was no running water the day after we shot this pod. So we had to take a bucket shower, which means going out to the well behind Zuzu's, filling up a bucket or two and pouring the water over your soapy head in the bathroom. I have to admit that initially I hated the idea. But it turned out to be quite refreshing, especially after shooting under the heat in the diamond mines all day.
      But what Darren forgets to mention is that the deal was that I would only let Darren film me showering in my bikini if I could film him in his speedoes.

    • Try running a hotel without electricity or running water. What Zuzu's lacked in comforts like a/c in 95+ degree heat or cold showers, it more than made up for in memories. I tried to convince Mariana to demonstrate how to take a bucket shower (in a bathing suit), but she drew the line. In any case, we won't be forgetting Zuzu's anytime soon.
