    • That is real courage. To admit that gang life is wrong and say it in public. Something really struck a nerve when Joey Ray said " Thank God he figured it out before it was to late, such as doing a life term or dead" He also said he had to figure it out on his own and it didn't matter what anybody told him. I wish we could figure out how to get through to the youngens before they have to learn lessons the hard way....I know life is a process but I hate to see somebody go through unnecessary suffering for no reason. All my best to Joe and Joey Ray.

    • man thats how it is in alot of places.. its really good to see that some one is taking an intrest in making places like south central bronx detroit south phoenix chi town all the places like that a better enviornment to live in.

    • Getting Joe and Joey Ray's personal take on life is what I think really made this pod. Giving them their own camera gave us a look at a world that would've been difficult to get as an outsider. Joey Ray's footage talking to young kids on the street was what I thought was the most powerful--especially because it gives us some idea of what reality is like for them on a daily basis.
