These clips inspired me to get out of my car and into a bus to actually experience the adventure that I am so hungry for.

Thank you so much for helping to bring to light the problems being faced by my hometown of Port Arthur. Seeing MY city, and the places so many of MY friends and family have spent their entire lives working presented from your point of view brought tears to my eyes. It DOES smell like a fart (not just in the poorer sections of town shown in the episode) and it DOES have some of the highest rates of cancer in the nation, but such is our lot and we try to make the best of it. I moved to DFW 5 yrs ago and don't miss the pollution one bit, but the PEOPLE..... the people are what make that area a place I am PROUD to be from. Thank you for showing people in the community, MY community, that care enough to try to make a difference. With exposure such as what your show provided and (hopefully) the support of other South East Texans, I'd like to think that Port Arthur is headed in the right direction. Thank you, thank you, thank you....

This so brings to mind the Simon & Garfunkel song "America". I just want to pick up and go somewhere now. Sigh, wanderlust is frustrating in today's society.

I'm actually hopping on a bus sometime in the next six months to take about a year off to travel the country and work when I have to. I can't wait to see this and see what I'm getting myself into.
