    • what are the crime rates of that state compared to others that aren't as flexible with armed citizens?

Being a disabled vet , I am very aware of the effectiveness of an armed public and am pleased that you took the time to make this pod. I find it very distressing that most programs that focus on weapons only focus on negative aspects of criminal activities , when armed law-abiding citizens far out number the criminals and utilize weapons in a respectful and lawful manner.

I also noticed that you didn't question the para-militarization of the police force. Does that even make you a bit uncomfortable?
I mean when i was younger , we were told that the police were our friends and we even knew the names of our local cops, where today in the inner city, the police rarely interact with the public on a friendly level , no more do we see the cop walking the beat, we see simply a squad car and have no idea about the individuals that are 'protecting' our streets.

one can not be in a position of power anywhere on the planet without guns. tell me is there ANY government that has lead by example and given up their weapons?

I often think of this each time i hear of someone promoting citizens give up being armed.

'...by the people , for the people..' not the government.
