I can see his Intentions, Whereas, He wishes to educate, the people about the ways of this World. While I find it Offensive, to use Pornography in a Public forum, using religion as a Front, for Lewdness and Vanity is simply dangerous.

This is a very thought provoking matter, In the United States, and on the World stage. From the Halls of Washington, to the Beaches of Malibu.

Uganda, has faced similar radical movements, under the Cloak of Religion.

the pastors of the world need to tell the whole truth and that is adultery, fornicators, idolators is just as wrong as homosexuality.I Corinthians 5: 1- 18. Ephesians 5:3.

Pastor Ssempa is an ignorant piece of shit spreading slander for personal gain. I would've told him to please remove his hands from my belly and my child, because no matter what he is praying about, that is a personal violation and flat out disrespect. (I don't believe that he was praying with good intentions) I would've also enjoyed a story about Mariana rejecting this waste of matter, this total loss of a human.

There are people dying of hunger and thirst in that place, and this person has the guts to go and spend her time and money to do research on gay rights. What an idi...!

Real news! Thank you for what you do to bring us the truth. A very difficult situation and I hope this law doesn't become a reality but even if it doesn't, the abuses already endured by the gay/lesbian community are atrocious and offensive to me.

This makes me want to scream! Why a ultra-religious people so impressionable? Please people try to use your own judgement it is a "god given gift" that all people have.

i cannot believe the ignorance of this pastor seempa . he claims that westerners are "pushing" homosexuality on Africa, but when was this bill written? a bit too soon after the march 2009 conference. and he claims to have done research - by finding gay internet porn. what about the medical research? and in case this pastor is unaware, some hetero couples do the same, and he should have taken a look at that porn as well. I'm hetero, but i've had friends who, like longjohns, have cried and prayed to god to make them hetero! apparently god made some people this way for a reason. it is a human right to love who your heart loves. the bedrooms of others are just that - the bedroom of others! not our business. scott lively is a coward, liar, and if he cannot stick to his guns, should just shut up. in my opinion, sempa is brainwashing these young people through nothing but fear. and this makes me so angry, i feel so helpless, but i am proud for those who won't back down or hide and deny who they are. thank you mariana and vanguard.

Wow, he put his hands on you? Mariana, in this clip you said you let him continue and pray over your stomach because you did not want to alienate him and lose a very important interview. But is there someway to remain journalistically objective and still not be touched by people you find personally offensive? (i might say repulsive).

This Sempa guy sounds like a real creep. Somehow, all of the people who are the loudest about things like this are the ones I feel least comfortable leaving small children around with. It's almost as if they're compensating for something...
