In more than 2,000 villages across rural Indonesia, people are starting to take responsibility for their own defecation. The Indonesian government and the World Bank are running what are known as Community Led Total Sanitation programs, which work to end open defecation and promote sanitation in toiletless communities. In this scene from Vanguard's "The World Toilet Crisis," correspondent Adam Yamaguchi tags along with a program facilitator to understand how villages are learning to get grossed out by open defecation--and begin clamoring for new toilets.
