The Death Train: Vanguard Trailer

Amazing and enlightening video. I am considered poor by American/modern standards, but live like a king compared to what these people live like day-to-day. I am also cowed and shamed by my petty complaints on life, the immigrants plight is heroic in comparison. I posted this to ask if anyone knows about a way to donate money to that lady that helps injured immigrants? I would be thrilled to find a way to donate to that saint of a soul that helps those truly in need. Anyone know how to help?

Its dangerous and promoting an illegal act of illegal immigration. "For the people who cant afford to pay a coyote to take them into the US.." such bull shit. thats like crying that a gun store wont sell a gun to a guy who wants to go rob the bank next door.

I suspect the comments deleted are from spammers like the post just below me. Unfortunately it distracts from the sad reality these journalists bring to light. This show is really breaking ground and I only wish it got more publicity. No idea how I found it but it's at the top of my TiVo list now. Just started exploring the website tonight after watching the Death Train. Incredible documentary.

Mariana - this show was up there with the best of your work. How do you help the groups you highlighted - the "hospital", the group that helps the migrants, etc. I'm an American and it's unbelivable how hard so many will try to get here. It breaks my heart that they die trying.

Wow, if so many posts are removed, i fear what may have been said. I'm afraid we are losing our humanity, to not be able to feel for these people, who only want to better their lives, who only want to work to sustain their families, not to buy the newest high tech gadget . Before you judge, you should know the history, you should know that the U.S. govt and corporations have a lot to do with Mexico and South America's problems. It is easy, try googling it and keep an open mind. Shame on americans for your apathy and hate, (and, yes, I'm born and bred here 5th generation).

Thank you Vanguard for another telling and heartbreaking story, thanks for reminding me how easy i have it and to never forget that.
