In "Marijuana Wars, Part 2," Vanguard executive producer and correspondent Adam Yamaguchi joins an elite task force as they survey and eradicate multi-million dollar marijuana fields run by Mexican drug trafficking organizations.

Cameras follow undercover operatives as they launch an operation to stop marijuana production by taking down the low-level planters, drug transporters and even the drug financiers themselves. The agents explain how the tentacles of Mexican drug cartels are reaching the east coast of the U.S., creating operation and distribution hubs--and bringing the war much closer to home.

"Marijuana Wars, Part 2" premieres Monday, November 29 at 9/8c on Current TV. Tune in starting at 7/6c to watch all three parts of Vanguard's "War on the Border" special back to back.

"Vanguard," airing weekly on Current TV Mondays at 9/8c, is a no-limits documentary series whose award-winning correspondents put themselves in extraordinary situations to immerse viewers in global issues that have a large social significance. Unlike sound-bite driven reporting, the show's correspondents, Adam Yamaguchi, Kaj Larsen, Christof Putzel and Mariana van Zeller, serve as trusted guides who take viewers on in-depth real life adventures in pursuit of some of the world's most important stories.

    • This was an interesting and some what truthful shows. The interesting part was the fact that it was claimed the Marijuana funded the other drugs which is why we want it Legal to end the Hard Drugs Cartel from importing into this country. At the end of Part 2 the Host said there is Violence with Marijuana, well that is not completely true the violence comes from Prohibition and the Money made from Illegal trafficking it. If it was Legal then you would not have Drug Cartel's trying to protect a multimillion dollar trade.
Also in part 1 they tried to claim that weed from the 90's was only 3-5% THC and today its 18-25% THC, the DEA tried to claim that weed from the 60's also was only 3-5% THC when they didn't test for THC till the late 80 or 90's. You can find weed today that is low in THC and high in THC but that does NOT mean that is the average and who cares you can get from a Doctor Marinol a pill that is 100% THC.
How can you win a War when a majority of the people don't want them to win and the Government is making too much Money fighting it to want to win it.
