Howard Kurtz's "Media Notes" column in the Washington Post has another oh-god-what-now media-on-media article about how hard it is for news networks to transition from large (usually four-person) crews for reporting down to one- or two-person reporting teams.

That's how most Vanguard correspondents have been doing things for a while, of course -- in some cases, for about a decade.

In fact, this upcoming season will see some of our teams get larger, adding a second shooter to Vanguard's typical correspondent-plus-producer package.
