    • This episode was amazing. I had know idea that is was that bad. Why can't the AG's office or sombody down in Florida go after the Dr's medical license. Don't they need a license to dispense meds? Something has to be done. I got so angry when the Sheriff in Kentuckey said he called the DEA and all they said was don't tell me how to do my job. They are not doing their jobs if all these pills are on the streets in such a huge amount. Maybe the people who have lost so much go after these places in court. It is time t shut these places down. they are dealing drugs but they hide behind THE LETTERS DR. they are not above the law. They took an oath to first do no harm.

    • whats wrong with pharmacutical companies making profits instead of the drug cartell in other countries? we need to legalize everything. didnt we learn anything from adam and eve. let the people who want to destroy them selves do it that is why god fgave us free will.

    • I grew up in Broward County, FL and I've seen stuff like this almost everyday. I also used to abuse Oxy's and it nearly ruined my life. Im lucky I got away just in time.. but not everyone is. This is a HUGE epidemic and this episode was so important to me. I just hope everyone else could see this and something could be done to help all the people in a situation like this.

This episode is amazing. I hope you receive the Emmy.

    • I really hope that the Vanguard team receives the Emmy for OxyContin Express. They worked really hard by investigating and addressing the important stories that no one else is telling. This is truly one of my top Vanguard episodes.

    • I loved this episode, and since I live in Florida I have seen prescription pills ruin teens lives when I was in high school, and I constantly heard of kids going to Miami to get drugs. This episode really shows a lot of what is really going on.

    • This is cool great work, but please allow me to show the People of the United staes what I have found out, and i was dissapointed with the truth, to the point my heart was sick and sad.
A link to the 9/11 terrorist attack has been found, and it should be noted because of these issues at hand many Afghan people have become slaves , in between two groups fighting to control this Heroin Drug Empire.
Nine years we have been at war and I ask the big why ? Why is there a hands off policy that prevent the destruction of these poppy plants ?
Did you know that American Dollars supported the Terrorist Attack on 9/11/2001, and thousands of lives have been lost. Who are the investors of the pharmaceutical Company Purdue that makes Oxycontin and how are they above the Law ? Oxycontin is Heroin made from the opium / poppy plants. It is Illegal by Law to buy and resale Heroin. Purdue is responsible for the deaths on 9/11 and the on going addiction here in America.
I have been so out of touch with this world and the issues within, and because of this system failure brought on by this 9/11 , War and the Scams that brought the American People to their knees. I am a little bit angry, because some one said to me why, why Mr. Massingale do you persist? Because I choose to and this Arabic Drug Empire is in my way. I do not belong in this world of a Matrix, that most hold in the hearts as if it is all that. But because of this War I am now apart of it , this Matrix.
Because of the system failure brought on by 9/11, this system of a Matrix came into my life, now I fight back with words of truth to bring back a balance lost.
It is the word of the streets that in part, is the issue, of why the attack on 9/11/2001, it is because American Business Companies started taking over this Arabic Drug Empire. And the conflict started to unfold.
When the Food and Drug Administration and the Drug Enforcement Agency step aside and allow heroin to be sold in the USA. This show that Government miss use of power at hand.
So join Us International Boycott Of The Arabic Drug Empire Phase 2

    • This episode in particular is very personal to me because one of my loved ones is an Oxy addict . This doc was well done, well told, well-paced, and has now earned a well-deserved Emmy nomination.

More people need to see this series.

    • Excellent job Vanguard team. This was one my favorite episodes of Vanguard in some time.

Even while things shift and change around you on this network (for better or worse), you guys keep the quality of your content consistently high.

Well done. I hope you win.
