19-year-old activist Zack Kopplin: Tax money is paying for creationism lessons in schools

Rice University student Zack Kopplin talks to Current TV’s John Fugelsang about how he has become a leader in the fight to repeal the Louisiana Science Education Act, which allows creationism to be taught in public schools. Kopplin points out that this is a problem elsewhere in the country and that taxpayer-funded vouchers are also at play.

“I’ve exposed that there are 19, 20 schools in Louisiana — at least, if not more — who are teaching creationism and receiving public money,” Kopplin says.
