Political satirist and newly announced Current TV host John Fugelsang joins “Viewpoint” host Eliot Spitzer to lend his wit to Romney’s tax policy posturing and Texas tea party candidate Ted Cruz’s surprise victory over Texas Lt. Gov. David Dewhurst in a primary runoff battle for a U.S. Senate seat.
“I think that the president’s burden is to wake up our Republican friends to the facts that the Romney agenda does not help them. Tea party, Governor, is an acronym for ‘Total economic amnesia permits additional Republican trickle-down, y’all,’” Fugelsang argues. “I think amnesia’s become an airborne virus for our Republican friends.”
