Comedian John Fugelsang takes on Mitt Romney’s London gaffes, the 2012 Olympics

Political satirist John Fugelsang joins “Viewpoint” host Eliot Spitzer to discuss Mitt Romney’s gaffe-ridden London visit, as well as the start of the 2012 Olympic Games.

Romney’s blunders included telling NBC’s Brian Williams that “it’s hard to know just how well [the Olympics] will turn out,” before noting, “There are a few things that were disconcerting” about the pregame preparations. He then offended some by appearing to forget the name of Labour Party leader Ed Miliband and by publicly broadcasting the fact that he met with the head of Britain’s Secret Intelligence Service, widely known as MI6 (Military Intelligence, Section 6).

“Mitt Romney’s been going around falsely accusing Barack Obama of going across the world apologizing for America. Now America has to go across the world and apologize for Mitt Romney,” Fugelsang quips.
