Did Rand Paul signal his presidential ambition for 2016 during Hillary Clinton’s Benghazi hearing?

Lizz Winstead, comedian and “The Daily Show” co-creator, Rachel Sklar, founder of TheLi.st, and comedian and blogger Leighann Lord join John Fugelsang on “Viewpoint” to discuss the political drama on display during Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s Benghazi testimony.

Sklar contends that the rhetorical use of “Had I been president” on the part of Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., during the hearings might convince Clinton to declare her intention to run for president in 2016: “Wouldn’t Rand Paul be enough for Hillary to say, like, ‘OK, maybe I shouldn’t step away just yet. Again, the country needs me’?”

“I do think Rand Paul is a lot like Rick Santorum in that he’s not really running for president, he’s running for higher public speaking fees for the rest of his life,” Fugelsang says.
