“Viewpoint” host and former New York Attorney General Eliot Spitzer condemns Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott for his recent comments comparing Planned Parenthood to “a terrorist organization.” Abbott — who was appointed by George W. Bush to the Texas Supreme Court before becoming attorney general — went to court to keep state funds from going to eight Planned Parenthood clinics in Texas, though none perform abortions and all meet the criteria for funding. “Republicans keep saying there’s no war on women, but, boy, do they make it hard to believe them,” Spitzer says, noting that Texas leads the nation in the number of uninsured — one in four women has no health insurance.
