Eliot Spitzer contends Obama’s stimulus is working, contests Republicans’ austerity plans

“Viewpoint” host Eliot Spitzer argues that while the economy’s recovery has been slow, Obama’s stimulus is clearly working, and that the effects of austerity measures in Europe are proof that drastically cutting spending doesn’t work. “Unless you want to be like Spain, with 23 percent unemployment, or Greece, with 21 percent unemployment, maybe we should stick with what has worked: government stimulus and Barack Obama,” Spitzer says.
