Current TV’s John Fugelsang analyzes the logic used by pro-gun advocates with “This Week in Blackness” radio hosts Elon James White, L. Joy Williams and Aaron Rand Freeman. “Doesn’t their argument extend to having your own personal arsenal of missiles?” Fugelsang asks.
“You can make an argument that anything is used for a weapon,” White answers. “Like, ‘I desperately need 15 samurai swords on me at all points in time.’” The panel goes on to address news that a rocket launcher was returned at a recent gun buyback in New Jersey. “This means that we can get through to the gun nuts, if someone with a rocket launcher … can then be talked into giving back the rocket launcher,” Freeman says.
