Peter C. Harvey on ‘accidental’ words of Trayvon’s mother, burden of proof for second-degree murder

Former N.J. Attorney General Peter C. Harvey and “Viewpoint” host Eliot Spitzer discuss the legal impact of Sybrina Fulton referring to the shooting of her son Trayvon Martin as “an accident.” Harvey weighs in on what the prosecution must prove in order to secure a second-degree murder charge against George Zimmerman: “I think the prosecution has to show that Zimmerman engaged Trayvon Martin. That Zimmerman was armed, Trayvon Martin was not. And that Zimmerman shot him at a point where he had complete control of the situation.”
