Playing the victim? Obama on the economy, Romney vs. Obama

Zeke Miller, BuzzFeed political reporter, and Boris Epshteyn, Republican strategist and contributor to The Daily Caller, discuss the latest developments in the 2012 race for the White House with “Viewpoint” host Eliot Spitzer.

Miller offers perspective on why Barack Obama does not seem to be gaining traction in the polls despite a series of wins for his administration and a spate of bad press for Mitt Romney: “This election’s going to come down to maybe 200,000 voters in two states. I think David Plouffe said this a couple weeks ago: ‘More money will be spent in this election to influence the smallest number of voters in any election in American history.’”

Miller goes on to explain, “In the polling at large, we’re seeing the president’s getting blamed for his three and a half years he was in office — you cannot go back to the Bush years and say three and a half years in that you have absolutely no responsibility for that.”
