Congressional candidate and former Florida Congressman Alan Grayson talks to “Viewpoint” host Eliot Spitzer about Mitt Romney’s criticism of President Obama for not visiting Israel during a Middle East tour in 2009. Obama has not visited the country since he was a candidate for president in 2008, something Spitzer fears could hurt him with Jewish voters in Florida.
“The right-wingers have been trying to make out this case that the president’s a Muslim, that he hates Israel, that he won’t visit Israel, and so on and so forth,” Grayson says. “There’s been a whispering campaign regarding the Jewish vote now for four years. It’s hard for the president to turn that around.”
