A mini twister swept through Stornoway on the Isle of Lewis around 10pm Tuesday night. There have been no reports of fatalities or injuries but widespread damage has occured to homes and, especially, vehicles.
Could this "act of God" have anything to do with the controversial Sunday ferry service that launched - despite appeals from God-fearing protestors - less than two weeks ago..?
