"Friends" watched for 83 hours breaks record

Steve Misiura has watched every episode of Friends back to back and has gained a world record as a result.

The 31 year old from Brixton, south London was advised by Guinness World Records to take a break every eight hours, but he decided to rest only every 16 hours so that he could get through the challenge faster.

You can see from the pictures that he took of himself that he didn't necessarily have a great time watching and actually started hallucinating.

Wonder how long it will take to get the theme tune out of his head?

    • He probably sees the characters walking down the street, next to him, and on the bus...people must think he's cray talking to 'Chandler' on the tube.

    • I've seen so many damn repeats of this show that I reckon I've accumulated 83 hours by now.

      83 hours I want back.

    • my boyfriend just bought the box set with every episode in it, i manage three episodes and then i have to admit, i need a break. Although, if it means snuggles on the sofa, i'd tolerate it for 83 hours! (puke)

    • I was forced to watch 'Friends" on a 12 hour bus ride (not for the whole 12 hours, thankfully.) I could have spewed chunks all over the seat, but I put in earplugs- much better. I don't see how a show so damned obsessed with sex can be so funny. It got tiresome, really quick.
