Kent's got the most ghosts. Heathrow's got Dick Turpin

The English county of Kent has more ghost sightings than any other place in the United Kingdom - at least that's the finding of some new study or something.

Other places that are haunted include Heathrow Airport - where the ghost of Dick Turpin appeared on one of the runways - and the ghost of a one-legged priest appears somewhere or other.

But there's more to phantom menaces than ghosts - UFOs, crop circles and even werewolves (of the non-American kind) are found to be in abundance in this green and pleasant land. I regularly go past a building full of spooks when I get the train to London's Waterloo train station (it's on the left, across the Thames).

    • Surely if Heathrow airport was haunted it would have been seen by more than one person now. Specially with the amounts of people who are more suspectable to seeing spooky things (our friends in the US, Derek Accorah), travelling through it.
