An Italian mother has appeared in court charged with maltreatment after mollycoddling her 12-year-old son to such a degree that his physical and social development were threatened. Even in Italy, the land of the mammone – or mummy's boy – the boy's sheltered life has alarmed authorities.

This is child abuse how is that boy going cope in the outside world away from Mama. Hopefully the mother will now grow up & start to help the development of her son & not hinder it.
