In accordance with Islamic rules, the Prophet cannot be depicted on screen. Images of the Prophet are considered blasphemous by Muslims.
The $150m (£91m) English language film should go into production in 2011.
I'm not expecting to see queues of muslims lined up around the block to go and see this film, also how do they expect to base a film around a man they cannot show? for fear of threats of beheading and jihads?

also will they include his child bride Aisha in the film?

If you wanna make a film about Muhammed, you show it through his eyes. That's how you base a film about a man they cannot show and it's not disrespectful either.

Think that this is likely to ring a heap load of controversy; the fact that Hollywood is all over it makes me think that it probably wont even survive production.
