A female student caused a stir at her university in Brazil, after being escorted off the premises for wearing"inadequete clothing".

Student Geisy Arruda, was immediately expelled from Bandeirantes University in Sao Bernado do Campo, for arriving on campus in a short pink dress, which was against the insitution's moral rules.

The dress was seen as being too provocative for the eductional environment, and would provoke other students. Traditionally jeans and t-shirts are worn to classes.

Arruda was taunted by students as police led her out of the university, following the decision for her expulsion.

So far Brazil's national student union has supported Arruda's case.
