Society as a whole reacts to child prodigies with either awe and support, or cynicism and fear. One can argue this stems from the undercurrent of distrust aimed squarely at intelligence and education that flows beneath the general public’s collective consciousness, but regardless of sociological origin or implications, few can deny the fact that some children inherently possess intelligence, insight and talent far beyond their chronological ages.
