NYT: The induction of Cal Ripken and Tony Gwynn into the National Baseball Hall of Fame today was notable for many reasons primarily because no one mentioned Barry Bonds.

    • It really speak volumes about the hypocrisy of modern sports fans when people focus all their anti-steroid ire on Bonds while simultaneously giving an obvious offender like Gwynn a free pass. I mean, look at his rookie card! He must have put on 80 lbs. during his time in the league. Yeah right, like *that's* natural...

    • Excellent! No way should anyone detract from these two amazing players by mentioning BB. They deserved a day that was all about them..and it looks like they got it. I'm glad these two were first ballot inductees - they more than deserved it!
