The Bulls are out of the running for Kobe Bryant. For now, anyway.
"I've never seen reports for any player like there's been for this thing, and I think it was important for John to do that," the agent said. "You can talk until you're blue in the face and say this isn't a distraction, but it's become one for both teams. The players hear everything, and they read everything. That's just the world we live in."
The Los Angeles Lakers and Chicago Bulls have been negotiating for weeks, but have been unable to agree on a package that would work for the teams and Bryant, who has a no-trade clause and thus can veto any deal. Few Bulls have been spared speculation, and an opening-night loss to New Jersey on Wednesday seems to have convinced Paxson that he needed to end negotiations.

chris duhon is a great player & could be a star on a different team...unfortunately i think that the honeymoon is over for our very young & disappointing team. unfortunately, its time to rebuild again.
i really don't like college basketball it always seems really wack like most of the players have never played with each other before. women's college ball is a lil better since they always play so hard, but i think i remember high school games being more exciting than men's ncaa basketball.

I am looking forward to going to a Bulls game, now that I've moved to Chicago. As a Dukie, I watched every one of Chris Duhon's college games, so it'll be fun to see him in the big league.
I'd still take a college game over a pro game any day. These pro guys seem too showy and like they don't try hard enough, like the scrappy college kids.
What do you prefer - college or pro?
