Dodge ball war in Pollock Hall?s

A dodge ball fight broke out in the Pollock Hall?s quad. After Hours cameras were their to catch the action and watch the balls fly and the players show off the 5 D?s of doge ball: dodge, duck, dip, dive and dodge.

    • This piece had some interesting camera shots and angles, which provided the audience with unique perspectives of the dodgeball match. The slow motion and black and white were good ideas but after about thrity or forty-five seconds I wanted to see the editor mix it up. For pacing I would have used a few fast cuts and done something with speeding up and maybe even reversing the speed of play. In addition to switching between color and black & white at the beginning and end, I would have switched between them using fast cuts a couple other times in the middle of the piece and maybe even toyed with a few other color effects. I also would have had footage that led into the beginning of the match instead of just getting into it. This piece was a good idea but I think it would have benefited from a little more creativity in post.
