Webber: "I'll be there tomorrow," Webber said via e-mail. "It's a done deal."
A five-time All-Star, Webber began his career in Golden State, winning Rookie of the Year in 1993-94. He had a falling out with Don Nelson, however, and was shipped to the then Washington Bullets after only one season.
In a 14-year career, the Michigan product has averaged 20.9 points, 9.8 rebounds and 4.3 assists.
Nelson lasted for only one more year in Golden State after Webber left, coaching the New York Knicks for one season and the Dallas Mavericks for eight more before returning to the Warriors last season.
He has said that he will do whatever it takes to mend the fences with Webber for the good of the team.

And it looks like he's going to start. But I'd say he's gonna play about 15 to 20 minutes.

now if the Warriors can only find a way to pry Juwan Howard from the steely clutches of the Dallas Mavericks....we're talking a championship team here....

This is the last guy you'd want on your team right now. What are they thinking? This is a team that's built on one thing and one thing only - running! Why the hell would they bring in a guy that can't run??
Oh yeah, what's the Warriors biggest deficiency? Could it be defense? I think it could be. What's always been C-Webb's biggest deficiency? Could it be defense? I think it could be.
Personally, I don't give a rats ass about the Warriors but the fans like you guys have been in pain for years and deserve better than this.
I wonder who would win in a full-court race - C-Webb or Mullin? My $$ is on Mullin (and he's almost 45 years old!)

But, Nelly should ensure Weber is never, ever allowed to call a timeout.
Ever. Especially when airborne.

Fear not Dan, Nelly wiill keep the webbed one in check. He's only going the be there to spell our starters and give the rookies some knowledge. He still is one of the best passing big men ever.
Plus... it's more hyphy drama for the most greatest show in 'Town! yeee!

This acquisition really makes the Warriors a playoff team. Whether or not they can make it through the West is another issue altogether. When it comes to the fast moving offenses, no one does it better than the Phoenix Suns, so if a team that plays that up tempo ball can make a run through the playoffs it will be the Suns not the Warriors even with Chris Webber.

I HATE THIS!
Webber (and Spreewell) basically ruined the Warriors and drove them to the crappy team they were for the past decade and then some. Now, they finally get competitive and exciting again, and THEY FRACKEN BRING THAT LOSER BACK???
Lame.

Spot on, Joe B. Spot freakin' on... plus, it looks like they've signed CJ Watson for the remainder of the season. Gotta love the D League: first Azibuke and now Watson...
I can't wait for Friday night vs the Bobcats: J Rich and C Webb returning to the Arena!!
