Good pod -- tough to sum up all the lessons from such a great man in 5.5 minutes. I love the Wizard.

The world could use a lot more men like Mr. Wooden. If only we all could have such a wonderful influence in our lives. His players and children are very lucky to have had him in their lives.

Wooden is more than a coach; he is a philosopher. Though a bit sappy at times, this is a good profile of one of the most legendary figures in sports. A great interview that shows that despite Wooden's age, he's still quite sharp. It was cool to see him in his office, and I probably would have liked to have seen more of him in his natural environment, doing whatever it is that he does as part of his daily routine. Interesting that he addressed the subject of death and with great candor. Definitely a solid pod.

This is one of my favorite pods. What a great tribute to a man that defines the word mentor.

What a sweet, dear piece. So wonderful to listen to a man who's lived a very competitive life and yet still has the grounding and values that we all want to strive for.
He must have been quite a role model for those basketball players - demanding just so much and no more. Clearly, allowing them to create their own "masterpieces" every day.
Lovely to watch. Great producing/editing!

Oh My God! I had a dear friend from morgantown not far from his birth home. I went to Martinsville High School and lived very briefly in a home where he played basketball as a child on Blue Bluff Ridge in Martinsville. I had to walk but his wax figure for two years. The man is a living legend and is the embodiment of why basketball is important to Indiana and what sports can mean to young men and women in the world. He is also an inspiration at his advanced age to be so full of life and to still be giving interviews. Thanks for doing this piece, Coach.
