In honor of the greatest sporting event in the world:

Tell us who your Final Four picks are!

The person who picks the most teams correctly is the victor (give us a champion and a final score for a tie breaker).

Winner gets the title of BMOC, Big Man on Current (ladies, prove us wrong and we'll change the title).

May the predictions begin!

my picks:

Kansas
UCLA
Tennessee
Texas

UCLA wins it all 69-65

Go Pac-10!

      Wisconsin
      Memphis
      Texas
      UCLA
      Xavier

      Final Four:
      North Carolina
      Kansas
      Memphis

      Finals:
      Kansas
      UCLA

      National Champions:

It's going to be tight, but Jayhawks all the way. They are the best All-Around team in the tourney.

    • Hard to say deep into the tourney with as much talk about parity as their is this year and the early upsets of Uconn, Drake, and the near upsets against Duke and Tennessee which both just scraped by. I think that Tennessee will be hurt by their performance and they are facing an unbelievable shooting team Butler which had 15 of 30 threes in their win over Southern Alabama. Butler has made it into the sweet 16 twice before and both times lost only to the eventual tourney winner. Aj Graves, Betko, Gordon, everybody can be a perimeter threat on that team. I think that it may be a low scoring defensive nail biter but Butler will win and progress to the sweet sixteen for the third time in school history. Beyond that I just think this is going to be another crazy year with so many upsets and near upsets so quickly. Each first round game with the exception of a few over matched double digit wins have come down to the buzzer and I think that bodes well for the rest of March. The other real 'Cinderella's'(Butler may be small but held a top ten rating for a portion of the year, their 7th seeding was an absolute insult) Davidson, San Diego, and WSU will wreak havoc on this thing, we may see a San Diego of Davidson especially go deep into the tourney.

I was impressed with ND's showing so I retract my statements about Winthrop being able to beat them in the second round. And I love my boilermakers this year with their second seed I could see them going the distance this year and doing John Wooden proud.Just for Coach lets say Purdue, UCLA in the final four. As for the rest ?????? It's an interesting game. I can't wait to see the Arkansas Indiana game, lets see if Kelvin Sampson's old team has more 'blue chips' than the Hoosiers or if Eric Gordon can shore up the Hoosiers turbulent season with a win.

    • Mississippi Valley State's shocking loss to UCLA threw my bracket into disarray, so I'll go with:

Butler, Davidson, UT-Arlington, and Western Kentucky

with Butler edging out Western Ky. in a 2OT 89-88 thriller, with a controversial technical foul for "excessive bench celebration" giving the Bulldogs the opportunity to tie the game at the end of regulation.

    • Come on. NC has 3 first round picks in their starting line ups alone. And they are being coached by Roy. No one has their combination of talent, athleticism and depth.

    • My predictions (yes I do follow sports...Jeeze!) are as follows:

East will be the mighty TAR HEELS - UNC baby!
MidWest will be GEORGETOWN (Though my hometown team is in here...GO SIENA!)
      South will be TEXAS
and in the West, I want to say UCONN (because they were my team for a long time) but I gotta go with UCLA; they are bringin' the heat!

      TAR HEELS winning it all!

    • my final four......

      North Carolina
      Kansas
      UCLA
      Texas

......with UNC beating UCLA 81-71 for the title.

If the first day is any indication, this appears to be a chalk tournament.
