Brit F1 driver Lewis Hamilton won the German Grand Prix in thrilling style.

The 23-year-old dominated the early stages in his McLaren Mercedes-Benz, and then, after being upset by two Safety Car interventions and some cautious team strategy, showed off an incredible array of passing moves in the final laps.

Many have said that Hamilton could be responsible for breathing new life and youthful energy into the sport.

    • Looks like his amazing debut season last year was not just beginners luck!

Fingers crossed he hangs on to the driver's championship this year.

    • He was rapid, after the first lap he was 2.5 seconds ahead, then got up to an 11 second lead before the safety car was sent out after a nasty crash. A nifty little overtake of Picquet saw him roll back into the lead after he had pitted. Slick!
