Wow.
First of all, I can't believe he came back from retirement. Oh wait, strike that. Yes, I can (just like Jordan and a host of other sports legends). Once you retire from sports, with the accomplishments of legends like Favre and Jordan, why even think about coming back?!
Go spend time with your families, who's constant complaining about never seeing you probably annoyed you anyway, because when you were playing full-time you were so busy.
Second of all, I don't think I could ever root for Favre wearing colors other then green and yellow. Granted, not my favorite colors, but still, colors I've become accustomed to seeing on this particular, respectable gentleman; colors that blur in the whisking about back and forth, the spinning, duck diving and juking in all directions, to complete an immaculate reception that floats off the fingertips.

My take is that I had a whole lot of respect for the man. But it was tarnished when he tried to come back.
He should have either stayed in the league, or left all together. Not both. It's dumb and who needs the dramatics??
