this is a pod after my own heart...especially illuminating is the fact that young 'latinos' struggle to identify with a term that picks out their identity...the lil homie in the pod mentions that they are harasses bc they are 'chicano' or 'mexican' when truth is those terms really dont apply. chicanismo is more a product of ELA 70's identity politcs and mexican simply isn't true either.
