Transfer turmoil for Lukas Podolski, fear over the future of Franck Ribery - the Bundesliga might be on its winter break, but everyone is still talking about Bayern!
BILD talked to the club's chairman, Karl-Heinz Rummenigge (53).
BILD: The focus is on Ribery as the top player of the first part of the season. Can you really hold on to him?
Rummenigge: Ribery will stay with Bayern until at least June 30 2011. At least!
BILD: Can you promise us that here and now?
Rummenigge: Yes, I can promise that to all Bayern fans and friends of football, 100 per cent. No offer, no figure in the world can prevent us from that. In the new year we will even try in to extent his contract beyond 2011.
BILD: Does it make sense to hold onto Poldi until the summer?
Rummenigge: Yes, of course! He is our third striker, we still need him for all competitions. And I see a big chance for him in the next half a year.
