Update, after speaking over at home, they say Jeremy did not die but 10 minutes after his parents walked into the hospital room...

Some reports said he died in the hospital. Is this a case of where you are not dead until your are pronounced dead at the hospital? Surely he had to have died instantly with his body contorted in such a manner. Such a horrible way to die.

My god the video of that spill is the worst slam I've ever seen. At first I was thinking, at least he died doing what he loved.
Now I'm thinking. MAn, necks should never bend that way.
Poor dude.

So Sad to see a life end this way. I hope the family finds comfort in their memories. May God be with them and give them strength to deal with this tragedy.

All it takes is one screw up. No matter how great you are, you're not perfect.
It sucks no matter what...that he died and in such a brutal way. To not be able to say goodbye and get a response...I hope his family finds comfort at this time.

I know when you do things over and over you can feel when it's right, but when it feels wrong it usually is. Wonder when he knew it went wrong?
I have a nephew that is a "fairly dangerous man", Has been since before he could walk.
Almost decapitated himself in an ATV accident He just has to push the death line to feel he's living. He's still in H.S. and has already had multiple concussions. Oh, Lord. He's a real emotion demand on my sister and brother-in-law. He doesn"t see the problem. My Heart truely goes out to his family. I hope they can celebrate his vibrant life. - 3 years ago

At least it was quick and painless.
Being a daredevil means you take that chance in exchange for the rockstar-type glory. Still, sad to see.
BTW...this is legal but so many other much less harmless and more fun things aren't?
Why is that?

That's brutal. Pretty hard to watch actually. I've had some pretty bad falls skating; broken bones, concussions, lot's of stitches, but that fall is ridiculous. Truly sad.

I believe you mean 'graphic'... 'graphical' is appropriate in relation to to visual art/computer generated graphics or graphs used in charts or presentations.

UWAZell - are you serious? Is this a classroom? The word he chose obviously gets the point across. You are correct, but no one gives a shit.

Dude, a freaking shame!!! Everyone in Costa Rica was all over this, 24.000 people watching. He fell the same way a year before and saved himself for inches, this time, it was a lot more messed up...
