The Mexico Football Federation have sacked Sven-Goran Eriksson as team coach after just ten months.
The dismissal comes after Mexico lost 3-1 to Honduras in their final CONCACAF World Cup qualifying round leaving the team in last place in their group with three points, and that is behind Honduras (4 points), Costa Rica (6 points) and USA (7 points).
