Under-fire Bayern Munich boss Jurgen Klinsmann doesn't have much time to recover from the 5-1 thrashing handed out by Wolfsburg as he prepares his players to enter the Nou Camp arena to take on the mighty Barcelona.
The Champions League quarter final represents the sternest challenge of Klinsi's fledgling club coaching career as he tries to rouse his shell-shocked players to hit back after the weekend Bundesliga mauling.
With Barca in fine form in Spain's La Liga and able to call on the likes of Lionel Messi, Samuel Eto'o and Thierry Henry, any repeat on Wednesday of the abject display offered up by the German champions in the loss against Wolfsburg will lead to more humiliation - and possible the end of the line for Klinsmann in Munich.
But the former Germany international is staying positive: “Maybe it’s a good thing that Barcelona are coming now so that we can correct our mistakes and take a win.”
Bayern chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge said: “The team have to take responsibility.”
Wolfsburg - surprise challengers at the top of the Bundesliga table - were tactically superior to the Bavarian giants and outplayed them on Saturday.
