I don't seem to be blessed with particular punchiness this afternoon, but here's a few Brazilian Portuguese words that (if nothing else) might serve as a starting point. I feel a few could be believable as company names...or at least ironic company names, depending on circumstances.

Transigência = agreement, compromise
Lucro = profit, earning, gain, yield
Ganho = "I profit"
Percalço = benefit, disturbance, perquisite, profit, trouble (I'm quite fond of the seemingly contradicting nature of this one... benefit and disturbance? profit and trouble?)
Proveito = profit, revenue, advantage, avail, benefit
Vantagem = advantage, edge, boot, convenience, interest, profit, utility
Benfeitoria = benefit, betterment, improvement, melioration, profit

    • The two P's... it's a tough call. Proveito totally sounds like a pharmaceutical company. I may have some drugs around here somewhere that say "Proveito" on them.

    • I tried to do a little more digging on Percalço...annnnd didn't get much, except more vague, ambiguous and curious definitions. But it's definitely growing on me. I'll try to find a simple and reliable pronunciation guide so I can figure out how horribly I'm pronouncing it. Though I did spend some time in Portugal, the sum total of my Portuguese amounts to "Não falo Português" ... which conveniently means "I don't speak Portuguese."

      I'll get back to you when I succeed at something.

      I like the feel of Percalco...... It does sound good..

    • I recommended for "Percalco" -- from your definition it sounds nice and ominous... yet ambiguous. Google translates it as "Mishap".

      there's something very .."Lost-ian" about it. To me, anyway.

    • 1) "BIG balls/eggs/tits etc. - conqueror" in Portuguese.
      2) "The SUN, made all things" -could,...be ALL, or part, .... in Portuguese
      3) Panacea + ( equivalent in Portuguese ) or Catholicon + ( equivalent in Portuguese ),....I think " Panaceia - Catholicon- Incorporated " works.
