First impressions matter. An opening scene can tell us a TV episode's tone, mood, genre, and even hint subtly at its moral themes. In each episode of Bar Karma, an opening scene provides us a snapshot of our new Bar Patrons before they enter the bar…and before they embark on a major turning point in their lives. So what do you think should be the opening scene in the story of "The Expectant Mother?"
"The Expectant Mother" follows a female politician who is grappling with whether or not to have an out-of-wedlock baby. And remember: the opening images will direct how we see this new character, but it may also misdirect the viewer slightly and set the writers up for twists later in the episode.
