What if the chalkboard also served as a silent calendar? (not that I’m suggesting regular calendars to be particularly garrulous) By this, I mean a small date would change in the upper right corner depending (not on the day) but on the patron who’d recently entered. Concept/Idea for the Chalkboard:
A weekly "Free Drink Riddle", always supplied by James (maybe) that sometimes ties into the episode. Sometimes very directly, other times only slightly and other times not at all.
