We need your help coming up with ideas that could grow into full blown episode storylines.
Here’s the challenge: Come up with a synopsis that could be an episode storyline.
Write up a paragraph with some of your ideas so that we have something to start with – but don’t worry about coming up with a full episode. The most intriguing storylines will be cherry-picked for further development.
Who knows, your idea could make it to TV!

A well dressed man in his early 60s enters the bar. Looking befuddled and thinking "this isn't the type of bar I usually go to. I must be lost" he walks in and asks James where he is. He was planning to meet his wife of 40 years for a pre-theater cocktail. His wife was no where to be found. The man's phone starts ringing and ringing, call upon call. Something urgent was happening. He ignored the first few calls, then answered the call from his brother-in-law, his broker. His company's stock is plummeting, breaking news that his company has been involved in a huge scandal.

The show starts out with a view of the bar at "night" (" " since there is really no sense of time in the bar), Doug, Dayna, and James are all asleep in their rooms. Then all of a sudden a yell is heard from the bar. Immediately the staff wake up and rush to see what the commotion is. As they reach the bar area they see a bright flash of light and suddenly there is a sailor on the floor... more

Richard Feynman (American physicist, Nobel Prize in Physics 1965, assisted in the development of the atomic bomb) walks into Bar Karma. The date is August 6, 1945.
Feyman once said, "I can live with doubt, and uncertainty, and not knowing. I think it's much more interesting to live not knowing than to have answers which might be wrong. I have approximate answers, and... more -
Scott Bakula walks into Bar Karma and Doug starts freaking out because he's a huge Quantum Leap fan. Dayna wants to try and stop him, but James suggests that she not bother and he'll get over being star struck soon enough. Doug is completely geeking out, explaining how it's so wonderfully ironic for him to come into Bar Karma seeing how the Quantum Leap ended with Scott's... more

While playing cowboys and Indians, Dayna's arm falls off. She sees this as an opportunity to get a new arm. So she goes to the zoo to take one from a panda. Replacing her arm with the Panda's arm. She is happy with her new panda arm (paw and all), but the panda isn't too pleased with now having to decide which nail polish to buy.

James attaches rockets to the bottom of the bar, in hopes of one day having the bar being a traveling bar that flies through space. Things don't go too well when Doug takes it out for a spin, without permission. He accidentally ends up denting the bar, and must try to either find a way to hide the dent from James, or tell the truth.

James attaches rockets to the bottom of the bar, in hopes of one day having the bar being a traveling bar that flies through space. Things don't go too well when Doug, without permission, uses the rocket-bar to jump over sharks in order to impress a new girl he came across. Without any prior testing, and without a steering wheel, The 3 find themselves traveling at a rapid pace towards a nearby star. Will they be able to redirect bar karma to the proper place?

A man has met his wit's end, when he hits rock bottom. His former fiance has run off with another man, and consequentially, he has ended up getting fired from his job. He has run out of money, and his social life is non-existent. The man chooses to end his life. Inside his home, he prepares the materials he needs to finally "finish the job" in the bathroom. As he walks into the bathroom with a hopeless stumble, he finds himself in Bar Karma. Confused over what is going on, he wonders if he has already killed himself, and he is now in Hell. He meets the members of the Bar Karma, and the story unfolds.

A successful video game designer walks into the bar and is having trouble coming up with an ending to his perfect game. He has a great opening, a hook, twists left and right, romance, action, adventure, horror, everything except how to end it. Doug suggests that he just leave it on a cliffhanger and make more money off a sequel. Dayna sees that money isn't really what this designer is... more

Bar Karma is hopping tonight. Marilyn Monroe enters alone. She takes the only empty seat at the bar, directly in front of James, and announces "champagne for everyone!" Now she takes a longer look at James....she knows him, but can't remember from where. James leans in closer, whispers fondly, "I told you someday you would get a second chance." We see a flash of... more

Benjamin Franklin walks into the bar.
Confused on whether he should do his electrical kite flying experiment. He understands the dangers of flying a kite in a lightning storm but he also understands the importance of science, of learning something new and proving it to the world, advancing the world.
Doug is aware of how important it is for Benjamin Franklin to do this experiment. Electricity is the power source of technology. Doug needs to help Franklin decide to do the experiment, but he feels overwhelmed at how important this task is. Dayna and James encourage Doug to do the best he can. -

A person walks in the bar in hospital clothes carrying a sense of awe, relief and surprise. Options:
1) He/she is having a "near death" experience while undergoing a surgery, and reaches Bar Karma.
2) In the case of option 1, here is some Karmic connection between this person and the surgeon or nurses participating in the surgery in past lives.
3) He/she is having a "lucid dream" while in the hospital bed.
4) He/she is actually (already) dead, and reaches Bar Karma as a disembodied "soul". -

A Californian practitioner (or researcher) of the subject of "Lucid Dreaming" walks in the bar. He/she looks confused, and does not know it that's a "lucid dream", a normal dream or if he/she is located in a weird/alternative place: Bar Karma. He/she asks many questions and try to apply many of his/her techniques in order to check what is really happening...

A Japanese man walks into the bar. He needs a drink, his wife's cancer hasn't gotten any better. Worse is that he has 2 sons, one 5, and one 8. Who will grow up without there Mother. We find out that the guy's own father's house was at ground zero when the u.s dropped the atomic bomb on Japan.

Robot Hitler comes in for a drink, he is about to go on his Robot Date with Robot Marilyn Monroe (when you die, its logical that you'll eventually, one way or another, come back as a robot). Just before Hitler strolled in, Dayna discovered Walt Disney's head in the trash..... hey it could happen. She dusts it off, sets it on the counter, goes to the back room to get a cooler full of... more
