Jamison Whiskey, of course. Whiskey means 'water of life' in Gaelic. As far as green light, perfect. A green light symbolizes Tohu, the void before time.
I loved the touch you made, connecting the bar to a gambling bet. After all, in the original games of chess (the Astrologers Game, etc.) it says the universe was created in a gambling game, and it was played originally with dice. Job in the bible, connects to this theme. Einstein said God does not play dice with the universe. Mr. Einstein was wrong, etc..
The 'bar' theme is clearly from Doug Adams' restaurant, and also the tavern of Siderus at the edge of the universe. Of course, we also have the tavern wench in the first Indiana Jones, and Cheers, which was loaded with symbolism. Indy and Cheers kept symbolism 'lite' so the audience would not become confused.
