Take your favorite idea from the Money’s No Object challenge and re-imagine it as something that could be done on a slashed budget. How can you preserve the concept or the feeling of the idea, while doing it for pennies on the dollar? Note: hypothetical interns may not be used as slaves.
Reward your favorite pitches with a recommend—the community’s favorites will head to the next stage of voting, so make your voice heard!

Make the bar you are using to film in, open as Bar Karma once a week but don't tell when. It would make folks think they really walked into the place.
Use same props etc. Maybe cast could be there occasionally and act the part. Then have them head into the back room and reg employees come in like nothing happened.
Cheap, fun, a twilight zone experience for reg bar customers. Oh and have the Bar Karma add playing on the tv while they're there maybe do it for an hour or 15 min. Great publicity stunt..and the real bar could make some bucks too. Have the Mazda parked close by with the Bar Karma insignia on it.

Mosessilbinger mentioned ARG's and I'm Thinking COASTERS. The heavy-stock paper ones at every bar in world that usually have beer ads/promos on them.
On side "A", put the coolest graphic you can come up with, peak peoples interest because when they flip it over to side "B" all it says is:

I guess instead of doing a full fledge alternate reality game, maybe it could be condensed into, for example, the PlayStation Home format. Create a room which replicates the Bar Karma, where you can sit down with fellow players and talk about the episodes playing and what ideas they have for future episodes. You can have a board where it lists the members that have been credited for certain episodes, and... more

the idea i had about a travelling Bar karma with similar looking actors....take out the give-aways that cost to produce.....take out the travelling show....go regional with small local theatre groups, college theatre departments, and local stock companies. create a little Bar Karma group locally from these folks...no not slaves....paid but not at Equity rates. Give them some alternate baic... more

A twist on the Driveby Karma idea. AT&T's APPsolute Mayhem.
Set loose a group of people who are experts on finding phone applications in a crowded setting. They find people using or that have application capable phones with them. These experts do a "karmic intervention" with the people to help them get the application they could really use the most at the time onto their phone and also download the Bar Karma App free for them during the process (have some sort of free code key to enter). Helping these people to "Rethink Possible" -
Just a thought added on to bar coasters............
Put a round mirror inside the round..... top side....
What woman could resist picking that up for her make up check....
handy idea.... for ladies but what about the men Mmmmmmm -
Make the bar coasters a large coin. print a penny's sides with the information. they'll flip it, spin it and might hold onto it.

We could still do the undercover marketing program. it would need a modest print budget and alot of volunteer improv actors, somewhat like improv everywhere ... they need work anyway.
Also social media will be an important aspect of promoting the show or events. I think we can find a way to stage bar karma events on a low budget in existing spaces.
