Will Wright Stops By infoMania Posted by Brett_Erlich | Inside the Studio | JANUARY 27, 2011

Host Brett Erlich welcomes Will Wright, the creator of the most popular PC game of all time, The Sims. Brett gets Will to explain how he got Americans to spend countless hours pretending to be something as seemingly unsexy as a city planner. Will also talks about "Bar Karma," his new TV show on Current, in which the viewers help write each week's stories. Bonus: Will and Brett share their love of (non-virtual) bars.

infoMania is a weekly half-hour satirical show that puts a comedic spin on the 24/7 media overload. Picture the ultimate office water-cooler, only with funnier co-workers who willingly stay up late imbibing all forms of media so you don't have to. Hosted by Brett Erlich and co-starring Sergio Cilli, Erin Gibson, Ben Hoffman and Bryan Safi, infoMania airs on Thursdays at 11/10c on Current TV.

    • THANK YOU!!!!!!! Loved this communication....btw...i appreciated the call for specificity by Mr. Humphries. As for Sim Cities...I never considered that or any of Will Wright's work merely video games....rather an interactive stimulus of thought and imagination!!! Thank you all...i am really enjoying this Ride!!!!!!!!

PS...i have already watched the Premier episode 4 times...
My reason and my intuition are both screaming to me....WE HAVE A HIT ON OUR HANDS!

    • Have to say, I think this is a good concept here, tried some of the challenges on the 'Creation Studios' website and so far one progress, which was naming a Brazilian pharmacist.

P.S. Anyone know when 'Bar Karma' will be airing in the UK and Ireland?

    • I know it's Curren TV but I'm glad to see the promotion for Bar Karma starting to get going. I love seeing the start date for the show at the end. Yes everyone, this show is really happening, and we are all part of it.
