Katarrhaktes is a solo project of London-based visual and sonic artist Malcolm James McLean, and was conceived of and formed in mid-late 2007. I am listening to the Third book atm. Since I didn't listen to these types of books in my childhood I try to read them or listen to them whenever I can. Plus, they're mostly simple and pretty entertaining and when you're listening to an Audio Book, it's best if the book is short and sweet.
The books are sort of memoir of Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III. Each book shares his adventures and tries to bring comedy and moral values together in some sort of way. Since I watched the book "How To Train Your Dragon" I thought maybe the book would be quite fun. It turns of the book is way different and funny to some extend. I am not recommending this to adults but your kids will love this. Maybe if you're tired of reading that Twilight Bullshit, why not give this a try.I am listening to the Third book atm. Drunken Gunmen comes to us heavy in reverb and ready to rock us to the farther reaches of the universe. Their sound is best described as Bauhaus meets Space Invaders. Deep Space, Distant Future is sort of an audio science fiction epic. Instrumental tracks such as “The Thousand Light Year Stare” and “Infused” are the most effective but Graeme Kirk’s vocals are alluringly full of enough menace and angst to please even the most jaded rocker.

HardTek aka Free Tekno
Free tekno is the name given to the music predominantly played at free parties in Europe. The spelling of the word tekno is made to deliberately differentiate the musical style from that of techno. The music is fast, normally 180 to 200 bpm and characterised by a pounding repetitive kick drum.
Tekno evolved in tandem with the teknival movement in the early 1990s since many of the teknival organisers and DJs were also making music. The music drew on influences such as hardcore, rave, jungle, gabba and techno, with the producers taking the sound in a darker, more organic direction. An emphasis is placed on samples from TV shows, films and popular culture which are placed at strategic moments in the tracks. The music was produced with whatever was available: drum machines, synthesisers and keyboards as well as computer programs such as Cubase.
