After tough sanctions imposed by the United States and the West, Iran has given into the demands of President Obama, well some demands.
Iran is returning the RQ-170 drone that was hacked back in December of last year.
Their are some differences though: it's pink, it's about one eightieth the original size and being marketed as a toy in Iran.
According to some reports the toys have already hit selves In Tehran and carry a $4 price tag. The display of silliness has many US officials irate at the charade, but no need to get upset.
President Obama will be receiving his very own custom built toy drone as well.
“We wanted for Mr. Obama himself to have these toys and know that Iranians don't leave anyone's requests unanswered. We made the 'RQ' in pink as it is Mr. Obama's favorite color and we will send it to him via the Swiss embassy," said Seyyed Saeed Hassan-pour, head of the cultural department of the Aaye Company, to Reuters.
The day of arrival was set for February 1, but no official word of Obama getting the toy has been confirmed.
Back in December the drone was all over Iranian State TV. Footage of the drone surrounded by anti-American banners prompted the White House to officially submit a request to return the drone after it was captured near the Afghan border.
As RT reported, the US originally denied they lost a drone over Iran before changing their story and insisting that they lost contact with the craft during a surveillance mission over neighboring Afghanistan.
According to the US, the aircraft was flying around Eastern Afghanistan, but Iran argues it was well within the Iranian territory.
Iranian engineers hijacked the multi-million dollar stealth drone’s system and managed to ease the craft down to a safe landing.
Iranian ambassador Mohammad Khazaee submitted a complaint to the UN Security Council saying “the provocative and covert operations against the Islamic Republic of Iran by the US government, which have increased and intensified in recent months.”
Khazaee went on to say the “American RQ-170 unmanned spy plane, bearing a
specific serial number, violated Iran’s airspace.” He added Iran “strongly protests such hostile and aggressive moves and warns about harmful consequences of the repetition of such actions.”
Iran's ambassador demanded a US apology for the incident, but has yet to receive it.So Iran has decided to take matters into their own hands.
"We decided to show that we can deal with this issue in a very friendly and peaceful manner and put it in the playful hands of the children of Iran to pursue a 'soft war' with Mr. Obama and the US. This was the aim of producing this aircraft," Hassan-pour concluded. After tough sanctions imposed by the United States and the West, Iran has given into... more

If you want to know if a war is coming, don't listen to what the politicians are saying. Instead, keep an eye on where ships, troops and equipment are headed. Right now, there are quite a few signs that intense military preparations are being made for war in the Middle East. By April, there will be multiple aircraft carrier groups in the Persian Gulf. Large numbers of U.S. troops are being massed within striking distance of Iran, and it is being reported that U.S. aircraft are heading to the Middle East in numbers not seen for years. So does all of this mean that war is coming? Not necessarily. Perhaps the Obama administration is just trying to scare Iran into giving up its nuclear program. Perhaps the Obama administration is just trying to convince Syrian President Bashar Assad that it is time to step down. But the fact that such intense military preparations are being made right now is certainly very, very interesting. Usually wars are planned long in advance. The truth is that military planning does not begin when the politicians stop talking. In just about every major military conflict in modern times, forces have been moved into position long ahead of time.If you want to know if a war is coming, don't listen to what the politicians are... more

Israel vs. Iran: The Truth Slips Out
by Ira Chernus
Just days after the New York Times Magazine’s lurid cover story, “Israel Vs. Iran,” the Washington Post struck back with a two-fisted effort to win the “most dire prediction” contest. The Post’s foreign policy pundit David Ignatius wrote a widely-circulated column claiming inside information: U.S. Defense Secretary Leon Panetta “believes there is a strong likelihood that Israel will strike Iran in April, May or June.” The next day the Post’s front page headline warned ominously, “Israel: Iran Must Be Stopped Soon.” [Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu] Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu
Both stories reported that the Obama administration opposes any Israeli action, just like the Bush administration before it. The risks to U.S. interests are incalculable, as the Pentagon and State Department have been telling us for years.
Yet both stories added a new note: Israel might strike without U.S. support or permission. “The administration appears to favor staying out of the conflict unless Iran hits U.S. assets,” Ignatius wrote.
Of course the U.S. is already in the conflict, as the Iranians know perfectly well. Israel’s ability to strike depends largely on its high-tech weaponry, paid for by the $3 billion a year coming from Washington. With that kind of money flowing -- plus U.S. diplomatic support, which many in Israel see as their last barrier against international isolation -- the Obama administration has powerful leverage to stop any Israeli action that threatens U.S. interests.
When the administration tells the Washington Post that the U.S. is unhappy but helpless, it’s obviously looking for deniability if the attack occurs. But it’s also a clear signal to the Israelis: Though we could stop you, so far we have not decided that we will. This is a major shift in the message coming from Washington.
Why now? Ignatius put it delicately: “Complicating matters is the 2012 presidential campaign, which has Republicans candidates clamoring for stronger U.S. support of Israel.” Obama, the Republicans, and the mass media all assume that a red light from the White House to the Israelis would hurt the president on Election Day.Israel vs. Iran: The Truth Slips Out

Another fake humanitarian crisis after provacatuers were sent into Syria to stir dissent, just like what was done in Libya.
Plus don't forget that on March 2nd 2007 Former General Wesley Clark casually explained to Democracy Now's Amy Goodman that the Pentagon had already planned to take out Iran, along with 6 countries in 5 years including Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Libya, Somalia, Sudan (2007 up to 2012).
******
Although the U.S. focus remains on exerting diplomatic and economic pressure on Syria, the Pentagon and the U.S. Central Command have begun a preliminary internal review of U.S. military capabilities, CNN has learned.
The options are being prepared in the event President Barack Obama were to call for them. Two senior administration officials who spoke about the review to CNN emphasized that U.S. policy for now remains the use of non-military options.
The focus on diplomatic options was underscored by the U.S. ambassador to the United Nations in an interview with CNN on Tuesday.
The military’s work to analyze potential military options for Syria has been quietly going on for several weeks, two administration officials confirm to CNN. The bulk of the analysis is being done by staff of General Mattis, who would be the senior commander if the President were to order any action.
Mattis’ analysis is being shared with General Martin Dempsey, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, who would then present options to the White House, if it came to that.
“We don’t want to be in the position of suddenly dusting off some five year old plan,” one official said. The official emphasized the work is extremely preliminary but said the military would look at a full range of contingencies.Another fake humanitarian crisis after provacatuers were sent into Syria to stir... more

As the protests throughout the Arab world increase and Dictators try to hold on to power by any violent means possible it's amazing how people can still maintain hope. Syrian President Bashar al-Assad like many leaders before him may have not actually signed a deal with the Devil but with his actions against his own people resulting in over 6000 deaths he might just as well have. In the long run he will not prevail and history will add him to the long list of Tyrants that have tried to repress the human spirit. The challenge facing the rest of the world is how to intervene without ending up in a Third World War. With an Election Year taking top priority in the United States and a suspicion of U.S motives concerning any action in the Middle East, the actions or inaction of the Arab League and China and Russia strongly opposed to almost anything that they have no say in, the solution to the Syrian situation will most definitely be a messy one. I'm always cautiously optimistic about most things so I have to rely on what little faith I have that things will not continue to escalate until a Third World War breaks out. Even in our darkest hours we sometimes manage to prevent the worst from becoming the apocalyptic. History will tell if my optimism pays off. I HOPE....As the protests throughout the Arab world increase and Dictators try to hold on to... more

As AFP predicted in the Feb. 6 edition, the call by the publisher of The Atlanta Jewish Times, Andrew Adler, for Israel’s Mossad to utilize its American-based assets to assassinate Barack Obama has been almost entirely suppressed by the mainstream media. In contrast, the story has been big news in Israel and widely reported in Jewish community newspapers all across America.
Most astonishing—in response to Adler’s provocation—is that there are many Jewish writers openly acknowledging there is a deep hatred for Obama within the Jewish community, which most Americans presume to be strongly supportive of the president.
And although there have been attempts to paint Adler’s Atlanta Jewish Times as being somehow without influence, one of Adler’s regular columnists is Chuck Berk, a leader of the Republican Jewish Coalition, who—as recently as Dec. 30—was pictured in the Times in the company of Israel’s consul general in Atlanta, along with the governor of Georgia and several state senators.
In the meantime, Scotty Reid—columnist for a black-oriented Internet site, ThyBlackMan, raised important questions: “Are there Israeli assassination teams in the U.S.? If Israeli Mossad agents are based in the United States, what they are doing?”
Reid also noted that, “Adler is not just some crazed or mentally impaired individual publishing outlandish conspiracy theories.” Instead, Reid emphasized, Adler is not only publisher of a weekly newspaper but also producer of a local television show on which he has interviewed a number of Israeli government officials.
While JTA suggested most Jews still claim to support Obama, it did not mention that polls showing significant Jewish opposition to Obama could be enough to cause Obama to lose the electoral votes of key states, particularly in the Northeast, where politically active Jews in large numbers reside. As AFP predicted in the Feb. 6 edition, the call by the publisher of The Atlanta... more

Ayatollah Khameini (left) has been cast in the role of Hitler in the Illuminati's spectacular new sequel, "World War Three." Once again the West rides to the rescue of Jews threatened with "annihilation."
The ducks are lined up for another world war. As in previous world wars, Zionists are conscripting the United States. If Americans get suckered again, they deserve the consequences.
The headline on Drudge.com was: "Ayatollah: Kill all Jews, annihilate Israel..." Americans are expected to rally to their defense, like a trained dog.
Drudge links to an article on the NeoCon web site "World Net Daily." (Obviously Drudge is another Zionist asset.)
The article, written by "a former CIA operative" says, "the Iranian government, through a website proxy, has laid out the legal and religious justification for the destruction of Israel and the slaughter of its people....The doctrine includes [preemptive strikes] wiping out Israeli assets and Jewish people worldwide."
The source of this sabre rattling is an article on a Farsi website by one "Alireza Forghani, a conservative analyst and a strategy specialist in Khamenei's camp."
However, an Israeli website identifies Alireza Forghani as merely "an Iranian blogger:"
"Alireza Forghani, a computer engineer, wrote in his essay that Tehran should exploit the West's dawdling over a strike on Iran to "wipe out Israel" by 2014 - that is, before President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's term runs out. The post was widely covered in the Iranian media on Saturday."
So rather than a government spokesman, Forghani is really "a blogger," with a two year time horizon for a "preemptive attack."
This is how the Zionists beat the drum for war.
And what did Khamenei actually say?
The Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution said the regional uprisings will bring about decline and isolation for the Zionist regime and stressed:
"One of the outcomes of these movements is decline and isolation for the Zionist regime, which is very important, because the Zionist regime is truly a cancerous tumor in the region and it must be, and will be, cut off."
CONCLUSION
"Zionism is but an incident of a far-reaching plan," leading American Zionist Louis Marshall, counsel for bankers Kuhn Loeb said in 1917. "It is merely a convenient peg on which to hang a powerful weapon."
Zionism has been effective in conscripting the US into World War One and World War Two. Now, they are going for a hat trick.Ayatollah Khameini (left) has been cast in the role of Hitler in the... more

Is 2012 the year when we will see a major war in the Middle East? For years we have heard about rising tensions in the Middle East, and for years we have heard politicians express concerns about Iran's nuclear program, but now things really do seem to be reaching a boiling point. In just the past few days, the U.S. government has imposed tough new sanctions on Iran and has totally shut down the U.S. embassy in Syria. The truth is that we are getting dangerously close to a major war in the Middle East. So will Israel strike Iran at some point in the next few months? Will the U.S. military intervene in the rapidly escalating conflict inside of Syria? If a major war does erupt, it could send the price of oil skyrocketing and there is the potential that the war could broaden very quickly. Hezbollah has already indicated that it will side with Syria, and there is always the potential that Hamas could as well. Russia and China have both stated that they are completely opposed to military action by the United States against Iran and Syria, and they have even hinted that they would possibly even help defend those countries. As the nations of the world take sides, there is even the potential that we could see World War III develop. Let us hope that it never comes to that, but with the world as unstable as it is right now, you never know what may happen. Is 2012 the year when we will see a major war in the Middle East? ‘Which path to Persia: Options for a New American Strategy toward Iran’ by the Brookings Institute is reminisent of 'Catastrophic Terrorism: Imagining the Transformative Event'
by 9/11 Commission executive Philip Zelikow.
And don't forget about the 1967 Israeli attack on the USS Liberty which was a terror event meant to be blamed on Egypt and to start a war.

The Brookings Institure allow themselves the luxury of speculating openly about a possible ‘provocation’ to escalate things to the point of armed conflict.
‘Something on the order of an Iranian-backed 9/11, in which the plane wore Iranian markings and Tehran boasted about its sponsorship.(…). The entire question of “options” becomes irrelevant at that point: what American president could refrain from an invasion after the Iranians had just killed several thousand American civilians in an attack in the United States itself?‘‘Which path to Persia: Options for a New American Strategy toward Iran’ by... more

After posting Friday’s article I received some feedback that leads me to believe there is a burrito war brewing. The so called California Burrito which is indigenous to San Diego does not represent the California burrito in an way. The California burrito that San Diego lays claim to started around 1995 actually originating in Las Vegas before moving to San Diego. It generally consists of meat, guacamole or avocado, sour cream and french fries [the original Vegas version used tater tots].After posting Friday’s article I received some feedback that leads me to believe... more

Congress Is Demanding That The FAA Make Room For The US Drone Fleet
We reported yesterday that the past decade has seen unprecedented growth in the number of U.S. drones flying the skies over Iraq and Afghanistan.
With unfettered access to the occupied air space and burgeoning technology, the American UAV fleet has swelled beyond what was imagined before the wars.
Now, with ground operations concluded in Iraq and scheduled to end in Afghanistan by 2014, those new drones will be coming home and their pilots will need a place to fly them and train.
Which could be why Congress is calling for the accelerated use of unmanned drones in U.S. air space.
Steven Aftergood at FAS dug up the authorization bill before the Federal Aviation Administration requiring the agency to put “a comprehensive plan to safely accelerate the integration of civil unmanned aircraft systems into the national airspace system” within nine months.
The bill goes on to say “The plan… shall provide for the safe integration of civil unmanned aircraft systems into the national airspace system as soon as practicable, but not later than September 30, 2015.”
The bill calls for numerous test ranges to be operated in conjunction with NASA and the Department of Defense, use of drones in the Arctic, guidance system improvements, and an assessment of the “catastrophic failure of the unmanned aircraft that would endanger other aircraft in the national airspace system.”
This bill follows up the Army's January directive to use drone fleets in the U.S. for training missions and "domestic operations."
And both of these initiatives are mandated in the NDAA (section 1097) that calls for six drone test ranges to be operational withing six months of that bills signing December 31.

During a campaign speech delivered in Missouri on Friday, Republican presidential hopeful Rick Santorum did his best to make his audience shake in their boots with the specter of an Iranian nuclear attack.
“Once they have a nuclear weapon, let me assure you, you will not be safe, even here in Missouri,” Santorum predicted.
According to The Hill, Santorum is hoping to attract conservative votes in Missouri, where Newt Gingrich is not on the ballot.
Santorum went on to accuse the Iranian government of supplying all the improvised exposive devices used by Middle Eastern insurgents against U.S. troops. “These are folks who have been and are at war with us since 1979,” he stated. “This is a country that has killed more troops in Afghanistan and Iraq than the Iraqis and the Afghans.”

Bosnian Actress Vanesa Glodjo wrote an exclusive commentary for Women's eNews on her experiences in Angelina Jolie's first film In the Land of Blood and Honey.
"Those who see the film, especially the people who lived through the war, are finally getting to cry over what they lived through, finally getting a chance to realize "I am here and I survived."
When I started making this movie, playing the role of Lejla, the sister of the main character, the floodgates of hidden and suppressed memories and emotion lifted. I saw, yet again, the complete horror and terror of what it was.
The writer speaks freely about what she knows; it comes from inside. In the process, she works through the pain and shares it with others. It is the same for painters, musicians, composers and directors. But, as actors, we have to be chosen. We have to be given our lines to say. What was unique in making this movie with Angelina Jolie, the film's writer and director, is that we were given exactly the lines we wanted to say.
I realized how much I wanted--how much I needed--to say those very lines."

Six–year-old Bailey Paige, from Utah, got a birthday present this year that she’ll never forget.
After months of being away in Afghanistan, her soldier father, Sgt. Adam Paige recently surprised Bailey in the middle of her classroom. As luck would have it, NBC News cameras were there to capture the touching scene.
“That’s my only birthday present I wanted this year,” she said, embracing him as they both cried tears of joy. “I really missed you.”
A similar scene played out in homes across America at the end of last year, when 10,000 soldiers came back from Afghanistan on President Barack Obama’s orders. Another 23,000 are expected to be out by this summer, and the U.S. plans to close its occupation of the country by 2014.
In total, 1,732 U.S. soldiers have been killed in the conflict.
