A FEW DAYS AGO Tattle reported that Jessica Biel was going to climb Mount Kilimanjaro in order to bring awareness to the problem of unclean drinking water.
Speculation was that boyfriend Justin Timberlake might join her on the trip because he, too, had been talking about mountain climbing.
Scratch that.
Justin is not only not climbing Kilimanjaro, he's no longer climbing Jessica.
Us Weekly reports that the duo has called it quits after three years.
A mutual pal of the pair told Us Weekly that Justin told friends "it's over," and that he ended it for good - over the phone.
While Justin reportedly has been enjoying himself post-breakup, the "pal" said Jessica was in "severe denial and won't accept" the split.
Said another anonymous source: "There's no way of knowing if it's a firm breakup, because with them it's so hot and cold."
Well, she's hot.
And if he broke up with her by phone, he's cold.A FEW DAYS AGO Tattle reported that Jessica Biel was going to climb Mount Kilimanjaro... more

Is Tina Fey an Emmy winner? You betcha.
Fey received an Emmy Award on Saturday for her impersonation of Republican vice presidential contender Sarah Palin on "Saturday Night Live."
Accepting her trophy for best guest actress in a comedy, Fey thanked "SNL" producer Lorne Michaels and her parents, "who are lifelong Republicans, for their patience."
She was honored at the Creative Arts Primetime Emmys, which recognize technical and other achievements for the 2008-09 season and preceded next weekend's main ceremony. Fey has the chance for more awards: She could repeat last year's win as best actress in a comedy series for "30 Rock," and the show also could again claim top comedy honors.
Justin Timberlake was another "SNL" winner Saturday, honored as best guest actor in a comedy series.
On the drama side, Michael J. Fox won the guest actor award for his turn on "Rescue Me," and Ellen Burstyn was honored as best guest actress for "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit."
"I always wanted one of these," Burstyn said, winning her first Emmy after being nominated five times.
Neither Timberlake nor Fox were on hand to accept.
Kathy Griffin was host of the nearly four-hour ceremony, her trademark outrageous humor intact with risque jokes and filmed bits.
An edited, shorter version of the ceremony will air Friday on E! at 1 p.m. EDT.
The top network winner was HBO with 16 trophies, followed by NBC with 11. Fox and ABC each won eight awards, with CBS, PBS and Cartoon Network each claiming six.
PBS' "Little Dorrit," an adaptation of the Dickens novel, was the most-honored program with four awards. Several shows, including the opening ceremony of the 2008 Beijing Summer Olympics and "American Idol," received three creative arts trophies.
Next Sunday's Emmy ceremony, with Neil Patrick Harris as host, will air on CBS.Is Tina Fey an Emmy winner? You betcha.

Music plays in the hearts and souls of all of us. This post is about expressing yourself musically while not judging others for their taste. Really funny piece because One of 365 discusses different musical genres in a humorous way. She also discusses different bands from Bonobo and Unkle to Death Cab for Cutie to The Sugababes, and different types of music cultures so there is something for every music lover. To sum it, "Hey You Indie Bastards, Stop Judging My Rihanna and I'll Stop Making Fun Of Your Skinny Jeans!"

"Opera has a long history of over-the-top spectacle and melodramatic plots. Composer Jacob Cooper decided to embrace that excess, creating a contemporary opera that imagines the tragic end of one particularly tempestuous pop diva.
The work is called Timberbrit — as in Justin Timberlake and Britney Spears. It's a tragic tale that imagines Spears' last concert, in the final hours of her life. Timberlake returns after a long absence to win back Spears' love, but in the end she chooses the audience's love above all else.
Cooper began work on the opera by experimenting with a technique called time-stretching. Using digital audio software, he slowed down Spears' songs — and suddenly the light pop tunes seemed hauntingly tragic. Phrases like "Hit me baby one more time" took on an entirely different and more weighted meaning.
Cooper then collaborated with his performers to create new pieces of music inspired by those slowed-down hits, and writer Yuka Igarashi crafted fresh lyrics using the vernacular of Spears' songs — tears, love, dreams, innocence.""Opera has a long history of over-the-top spectacle and melodramatic plots. "Justin Timberlake is gaining some eco-cred with his new golf course in Memphis, Tenn. Opening on July 25, the singer has invested $16 million into making it the "greenest" golfing destination in the U.S.
Originally called Woodstock Hills, the golf course is older and was actually the first place golf-enthusiast Timberlake learned to hit a golf ball.
"...Last year we found out they were going to auction it off and turn it into a development," Timberlake told PGATour.com. "So we thought it was such a landmark for the community, we'd scoop it and save it. And we did. We were able to before it was auctioned off."
Renamed Mirimichi Golf Course, Timberlake's newest venture is the first project in the U.S. to receive the Audubon International's Classic Sanctuary certification.
The course will feature irrigation systems that will maximize the use of rainwater, native landscaping and electric golf carts powered by solar panels.
"After we had the golf course, we said why don't we refurbish it and make it even nicer for the community. Then I asked questions about what we could possibly do, and we found out we could actually make it a 'green course,'" Timberlake said.
"So when it's finished this summer it will be a Platinum LEED certified green course. The first in the United States of America, so that's pretty exciting that you could take all that land and make it eco-friendly.""Justin Timberlake is gaining some eco-cred with his new golf course in Memphis, Tenn.... more

Warner Brothers are about to choose the lucky actor who will be play Green Lantern in the upcoming DC live action movie.
The Hollywood Reporter, recently reported that the casting search had spanned five months with a number of actors, including Michael Fassbender, Jared Leto and Henry Cavill. Director Martin Campbell and producers Donald De Line and Greg Berlanti have narrowed it down to the following three stars: Bradley Cooper, Ryan Reynolds and a big surprise Justin Timberlake.
Some reports are even claiming that Timberlake is the favourite for the role, which would be a huge surprise to Green Lantern fans.
Bradley Cooper, who’s been mentioned with the project for ages, and Ryan Reynolds, who’s rapidly becoming the guy to ask to do Superhero movies. Reynolds played Hannibal King in Blade: Trinity and played in X-Men Origins: Wolverine, he’s been linked with The Flash as well.
If Reynolds gets the role, then he’s going to have to find a way to balance being Green Lantern and playing Wade Wilson/Deadpool again in the Wolverine spin-off. Green Lantern is nearly ready to film, with some sets being constructed in Sydney, while Deadpool is a alone way off . However whether Reynolds may feel that he’s all superheroed out remains to be seen.
Whatever Michael Campbell and Warner Brothers decide, they’ve need to get on with it. As the holding deals with all three actors expired on Monday, allowing them to take on new projectsWarner Brothers are about to choose the lucky actor who will be play Green Lantern in... more
